Just put my 18" Mufflex on today. A couple of squirts of WD-40, waited 15 minutes, loosened the bolts, pulled off the tailpipes, removed the stock muffler, put the Mufflex in, replaced the tailpipes, tightened everything up and it sounds GREAT!!! Took about an hour or so. Enjoy!

I had a littl rust form about a month of winter driving with salt so it didnt just slip off for me. Use some good penetrating lubricant and just grab the muffler and twist it. Pull it as you are twisting to get it out of the connectiuons. It took a little muscle for me to get it as it doesnt come out fast by any means. Good luck

I changed only the muffler to a magnaflow, and I had to add a small piece to one of the tails, and it all bolts on, plus it now sounds way better!!!

Magnaflow or Mufflex will sound better.

Put why not replace the stock y pipe while your at it.
It is a real performance robber.
On a 04 hemi (345HP)we saw 8-RWHP gain with just replacing the stock y pipe.
I wonder what gains you might get from a 390 Hp motor.
This is a picture of my 2010 stock y pipe.

just put a 18inch magnaflow from mufflex on my laramie and used a ratchet tie down strap to pull off tail pipes and muffler. worked great and was easy.
