Default 98 Dodge Ram 1500 engine swap questions

i have a 98 360 i have found two motors one is a 97 and the other is a 99 both 360's out of a van question is what one to go with and what would need to be changed out ?

i have looked around and could not find out any thing .. thanks for any help

anyone know ? or has this been beat to death and nobody wants to answer ?

i guessing on the 99 as the sensors should be the same i found a swap for ford engines but cant locate one for my dodge

Pretty much everything should be the same. If any sensors have different plugs, just swap them out.

Thanks RamTech for the input I was told the 97 would of had to change oil pan and sensors did not know about the 99 and its the way ill go
