Default Please Help!!

Hello all!! OK! So I havent had my truck very long... about a month and a half actually. It is the nicest truck ive ever had!! However, It has been back and forth to the dealer and repair man for weeks now!! here are the details.
2005 Ram 1500 5.7 4x4
64k miles.
first symptom was hard starting and a number 5 cyl misfire code.
dealership recommended plugs, wires, and a fuel pump so thats what i did that and cleaned out the throttle body(really dirty!!!)... Truck ran great for about 2 weeks and then the same intermittent hard starting came back. by hard starting i mean having to pump the pedal to start. Now when she started acting up again i could swear i heard a ticking sound, sounded like a minor lifter adj... Took it back to the dealer and they sat on it for 4 days untouched and then said there was nothing wrong with it. 2 hours later they call me back and say that they think a fuel injector is bad. Now they want to replace ALL 8 injectors!!! they have had the truck for 12 days!! I aint no rocket scientist but something smells fishy!! oh and i tried to find something about the one way check valve for the fuel system and still dont know if it is in the line or on the pump in the tank. Any feedback would be great!!!

You need another diagnostic opinion. I get the impression they don't know what they are doing. Swapping the suspect injector with another one should cause the misfire to follow the injector if it's bad. The fuel pump check valve is in the tank. BTW pumping the throttle makes no difference when you try to start it.

Unhappy in a corner...

Well the truck has already been to 2 out of the 3 dodge dealers on the island... the third has a reputation of being the worst. They are changing the injectors today. im keeping my fingers crossed but i aint holding my breath. I think they are just throwing parts at the thing and hoping it fixes it.
