Solenoid pack codes tend to be spot-on. I've changed a few out but can't say I ever saw one cause the engine to rev like you're talking about.

do you know if i can get that solenoid tested with it being out of the truck.also what are the odds of it maybe being torque converter i did notice a few days ago that i did hear a scrubbing noise a time or two when taking off sorda sounded like something was trying to stick maybe

I'm sure there's a way since new ones are bench tested before being shipped but service info doesn't give us any way to do it ourselves. You might call a couple of trans shops and see if they can do it.
