No offense but I think it would be easier and cheaper in the end to buy a cummins truck w/ a dead motor build up the motor you have drop it in there and then sell your HEMI truck you might even end up making a few bucks from that whole transaction good luck on w/e you decide to do though

You posed the same question on this forum about a month ago here:

Did you not like the answers that you got back then? I'd say it's not worth the time and effort. You'd be ahead of the game to sell your hemi, and find a truck that had a cummins in it that now has a blown motor or something like that.

Theres a guy who lives by me who dropped a 5.9 into an f150. He said putting it in a half ton was the stupidest thing he had done.

1500s have live axles while hd's have a solid front axle. I'm pretty sure you cant just put 2500 springs in to support the weight.
To put in a solid front axle you would probably have to do a transmission and transfer case as well.
Find 2500 gaser and swap it, you'll save yourself alot in the long run.

Or, like was said when you first posted it, you'd be much better off to find a Cummins equipped 2500 with a bad motor, and swap your good motor into it. You'd be alot of $$ ahead more than likely, with ALOT less work.

Live axle and solid axle = same thing
Solid axle vs IFS is more like it
