Wake up rt owners! haha just figured I'd go ahead and start a thread since its been a while. Recently I put my AFE stage 2 intake on my 2010 ram rt, the sound is far different then it used to be and the seat of the pants dyno says WOOO, even though the rolling chasis dyno says meh... also got my diablo trinity 93 tune, went straight to options and boosted the throttle sensitivity and got rid of that 170km/h governor... Wondering if anyone has played with the WOT fuel at all? info please? also looking into tires, suggestions (thinking nitto or something with some serious grip for street/track use)? next mod im looking at is a full AMRH long tube to a true dual H pipe, a local shop has all the specs on the setup going legal on this lol (cats and mufflers), also going to add a bung above the cat for a wideband air/fuel gauge. After all that ive been looking at opening those fake vents up, a friend of my suggested getting cast billet covers to replace the plastic ones the billet ones would be functional, speedfreak wondering if when you cut them out if its just space behind the plastic or is there "hood" there? In summary I LOVE MY RT!

A few have played with fuel on here, not sure if any R/T owners have yet though.

It's open behind the hood vents, but only about half of it.

i would not advise you to touch the WOT fuel settings unless you have a wideband or you get on a dyno with a wideband and see if adding fuel increases your HP. Changing the spark or any of the fuel settings without the proper equipment to to ensure that you arent getting knock can be harmful even dangerous to your safety and your engine.

Well, in other news. I bought the molded deluxe mud flaps from the mopar store online for my truck and installed them. They do fit very nicely and were easy to install. I also ordered a set of floor mats from weathertech (front driver and pass.) It's made of black rubber that fits snuggly in the floor, and looks good. Should help the carpet live a little longer down there. I used to have an 06 F-150 with the rubber floor instead of carpet and that really worked out well for me. I got a little over 1,000 miles on it now and the gas mileage has really improved. I figure the engine probably just needed to break in. I started with a 15.2 mpg rating which is now up to 17.8 mpg. It seems to have leveled off and doesn't increase anymore.

Thanks for the info there chit, i may just wait for some functional hoods to hit production rather then pay $400 to have billet ones made.

RamTex- I was wondering if anyone had experience with the WOT fuel because March 10th im having my american racing header, true dual system installed, we are adding a port just before the cat for A/F monitoring, and putting the truck on the dyno on the 11th for some tuning I just like to work with the guys to make sure I know what is going on haha which is why I was wondering if anyone had experience with the WOT if not I'll just have to make sure I know where it should be at after we are done tuning. Must say though I love the DS trinity, monitoring realtime is a nice amenity and the 93 tune showed well on the dyno with my afe intake.

Also I saw in another thread a link to a pillar pod for our trucks, wondering how well the color matches and if anyone has a link to the site to get the pillar. Ill search the forums a little in the meantime.
