Default New member, more tire ?'s

Hey everyone. I'm stuck in quite the dilemma here. I have a black 2008 1500 Big Horn 2WD quad cab. I think I have my tires and wheels picked out. Although I have flopped back and forth a few times.

For tires I'm thinking of going with the Kumho Road Venture MT.
Wheels I'm looking at the Helo HE791.

I've already ordered a 2" leveling kit to put on.

So here's the dilemma...

Do I go 35x12.50/18 or 33x12.50/20? The Road Ventures do not come in 35x12.50/20 that I see.

The reason I ask is because if I go 35's I might have to get a body lift. I don't really know and I'm against body lifts (but might be willing to do a 2 or 3 inch), yet I cannot afford a suspension lift. I'm more of a visual guy and I wish it was possible for me to see both put on my truck to see which I like better.

I'm incredibly indecisive. Any help, tips or advice will be appreciated.

I'm not a big fan of body lifts at all, if you really want those 35's I would look at a 6" lift. My buddy has an 06 2wd with a 6" Procomp lift with 35x12.50 and it looks awesome!

Depending on the backspacing of the rims you end up with and the addition of the leveling kit you'll be able to fit the 35s without any issues.

Remember there is a difference in height between a 35x12.50 on an 18" rim and a 20" rim too.

It all depends on what look you're going for. With a leveling kit and 33s it will have plenty of room and not a crammed style. With the 35s it will have a stuffed look. You already said you don't have the money for the lift but with a 6" lift and 35s it would look great.

My vote would be for the 33s. A much better look in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments guys.

My most recent decision has been to just put the 33's on for now and run them for a year or so to see how I like it. If I don't like it, I'll move up from there.
