I seen your post just now. I did my moms car on Sat. Part of her Mothers day gift. They were real bad. Yellow and cloudy. The kit i bought worked well. The kit is kind of funny.............4 sheets of wet sandpaper...1000grit / 1500grit/ 2000 grit and 2500 grit. Gloves tray and some polish i guess.I have enough to do it again. Take your time sanding and lots of water.Instructions say first sand up to down..next grit side to side..next up/down..next grit up and down............I was going to post some pics but mom left with the car.

I just saw this post, but if you haven't done this yet, do not clear them. Your headlights are just plastic. There is not clear coat on them. There in a headlight sealer, the one I use is from bull paints. It's kinda like a wood stain, two part mix... If you clear coat them they will haze over. Start sanding with 600 if they are really bad, and finish with at least 2500. I use a mini buffer and velcro sanding attachments. I do a lot of these and I am telling you that clear coat is BAD.

That will work, as well as original crest toothpaste, as long as the headlights aren't too bad off. To get a true good shine on a really yellowed set will take patience and sandpaper...

I agree don't clear coat. Just wet sand / polish. Clearing them will just make a mess. They may have came with a anti scratch / uv coating but its not the same as clear coat used for paint.

I have a fleet of 40 limousines that I manage and when the headlights get crappy I have sanded them down and compounded/polished them and they look better than new...every other month I briefly run the buffer over them cause they yellow because of no clear but they are clear and you cant tell.
