Here are a few pictures of the project we are working on... It should fit your 2008 with minor modifications. We have not completed it yet, but all thats left is we need to have the snout of the Supercharger extended and have a crank pulley added with a belt tensioner. After that we just need to have the plenum modified to accept the 4.7L throttle body and hook up the sensors. There is no reason why somone could not start where we left off with minimum effort to complete. You would need a competent machine shop with supercharger experience.

This is a 2006 4.7L engine with a 2003-2004 COBRA M112 Supercharger mounted with our Intake adapters.

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM

Default 4.7 cooling system questions

Hey guys,my wifes 2000 Durango which has the 4.7 eng seems to be having a problem with the cooling system. Constant loss of coolant for starters and while i need to trace this problem out,i'm lost as to the location of the thermostat. Is it on the bottom of the engine? I'm suspecting the loss of water may be the waterpump, though i can't be sure. Any help would be appreciated and especially if anyone has any schematics of the 4.7 until i get a manuel for this thing. Thanks,DeWayne

The t-stat is on the bottom. More then likely you have a blown headgasket. Its a common problem with the 4.7l..
