Default Never lowered a Ram, Need help

I have seen shackles but do they lift or lower the rear of the truck? I would like to level or lower the rear to match the front of the truck if i can(cheaper). If not the shackles i would like a 2/4 drop(would this look dumb on stock tires for a while?) but what kit is good and easy to install in my garage. Sorry about all the questions but I am real new to this kind of truck. Thanks for any help!

I just did the shackles for now. I want a 2/4 drop eventually. I lowered mine jus to level it out because i got tired of seein the ass-end in the air.

I think I will go with the shackles from Slammed1 I saw on here I guess and get rid of that ass-end up look. I think I need new tires or something to go too much lower than leveling it.

ok now that i have researched a lot...if you are trying to drop and Ram or lower some go to slammed1, stylintrucks is pretty good, beeltech, djm, and mcgaughy. chassis tech makes air suspension for the front and rear that is bolt on as well.

you have blocks? if so take one out and get new u-bolts and away you go otherwise lowering i would go with all djm products awesome stuff i used them in my 98 s-10 bagged and body dropped and they have awesome strength compared to what ive used but good luck and if you can do that then it will save you money other than getting new lowering shackles

Lowering shackles are the easiest to do and they're a decent price. I might do a 2/4 later on but this is fine for now. I have a much smoother ride and the ass end dont bounce as much and it's better taking corners
