Default Added a rear view camera to my ram finally

So last September, I became a happy Ram owner. First mod I did was install a 7" Pioneer touch screen. Well it had a little feature "rear view camera". Over the past 6 months, I sorta looked into getting one. And finally did. I bought this one off ebay, again after looking for months, I found the one I wanted, and pay only $20 for it.

Photos below for proof and shiz.

For $20, the quality is outstanding, however I don't really like how it mounts, Ill discuss this later.

Off comes the dash again, beholds my touchscreen.

I came up with this idea of drilling out the screws for the headunit, so you HAVE to use a rachet to undo the screws, make it hard for someone to steal. I know it may look like you could use a screw driver, but you can't.

Had to drill a bigger hole so I could fit all my wires including the new ones.

As for the mount, I don't really like it, it looks tacky and ugly out back. I am thinking of hiding it somewhere by the hitch.

Other then that, I love the camera, quality is outstanding!

Photo is taken with my tailgate down.

Just wanted to share, thought it was cool.

I'd really look into shopping around, mopars reverse backup cam isn't anything special, it just holds a big price tag...

the backup camera from Chrysler works crystal clear, especially at night
the night vision made it worth the price

I am unsure which Mopar model you speak of. But do some research.

They are all pretty much the same, mine is color, night-vision, etc. yet it was only $20 because its not a dealer part.
They all use about the same type of technoloy. I couldn't find any specs for the mopar camera. But search around and you'll find that you can buy the exact same thing for $20... just saying

$300 is the cost for the mopar reverse kit I saw online. Not including install and such, looks a little messy also. My camera just plugged into the back of my head unit.
