Not sure I'm following what your current setup is... glasspacks are a type of muffler and Flowmaster is a brand of chambered muffler... anywho... possibilities are endless, it just depends on your preference. I am personally a fan of Magnaflow mufflers since they tend to sound deeper and generally have better flow characteristics. You could do a single-in/dual-out, or 2 single-in/single out Magaflow 18" mufflers. Cruise YouTube for some sound clips to listen to. That might help you make your decision.

Edit: Sorry, just noticed your post said you were leaning toward "glasspacks and flowmaster tips", my misunderstanding on that.

I have a set of flowmasters on mine. Not sure which series, since I bought the truck with them installed. They're definitely loud and sound pretty good, but I wish they were deeper and had more of a smooth tone.

Not sure if glasspacks will give you smoothness, but they will be loud as hell.

The big question is... how loud do you want it? and are you planning a true dual system?

Just my 2 cents worth but I have always enjoyed the Magnaflow sound and warranty. I have had their systems on two pickups, an SUV and my SRT8. Definitely a nice deep sound, idles nice, not obtrusive in the cab when cruising and when you get on it, it turns heads.
