Unhappy What's the best 6'' suspension lift for a 2008 ram?????????

as the title says. And if anyone has pictures too that would be greatly appricated. I've done alot of searching around and found my self liking the Pro Comp stage II lift kit. But certain pro comp kits have 6'' front 3'' rear or 6" front and 4" rear. How would that affect my lift? also what else do i need for this kit, stabilizers???? Thanks ~Charlie

The Pro Comp lift is very nice and I would reccomend it or a BDS lift, but the BDS lift is a bit pricey.

Basically it is 6"front and 4"back to make the truck perfectly level. The extra two inches up front makes up for the factory rake.

You will not need steering stabilizers, but I have heard it helps a lot with keeping that stock feeling when it comes to steering. I hope I helped out, goodluck with everything.

From what I see on the inventory on PRO Comps website, the front coilovers are adjustable. I would assume (i know a dangerous game) that you can adjust it to get a max of 6", and maybe less if you still want the factory rake.

My best guess.

Okay nvm on that last thread i understand what you're saying about making up for the extra 2'' in the front that's why it's 6'' in the front and 4'' in the rear. But why in this kit is the rear lift only 3"???

The factory rake is the truck not being level when built. The front end is lower than the rear, for whatever reason they want to use: fuel economy, payload in the rear etc.

As for the lift I am not sure why some say 4" and some say 3" in the rear. I would say measure your truck, like with the leveling kits that come in 2" 2.5" or 3".
