How did you mount the amp aunder the saet? thats where I have mine, but it is not mounted to the floor yet.
Also, what did you do so the HU would fit?
I just ordered a Kenwood DNX 6960 and plan to do the install this week.
I looked at the pioneer, but I already had the steering wheel adaptor for the Kenwood, and the kenwood uses Garmin GPS, and got better reviews than the Pioneer, although, the Pioneer was a nice unit also..it was a toss up.
Where did you mount the antenna for the GPS?

thanks for the info. Great job on the install, very clean. I would post pics of mine, but dont know how to post pictures..

I didn't install the gps add-on yet, I have to order it. I will do in 2 weeks or so. I am doing a mount for the amp I will post the pics this weekend.
In regards to how post pics is very easy.
1- open a free account on http://photobucket.com/
2- Upload your pics from the hard drive to the photo bucket using the green tab (UPLOAD NOW) and (select photos or videos)

3- After the upload is done put the mouse on the picture and a Tab will appear (SHARE/EDIT/DELETE/MOVE). Press share

4-The new screen will appear (SHARE THIS PHOTO) go to GET LINK CODE and copy from (IMG for bulletin boards & forums) copy the full link and past on your thread.

Hope this will help

Thanks for the info Ramtx, Is there a unit that would cleanly replace the factory unit with no alterations to the dash? Just slide out and slide in type of deal?

What kid of HU do you have now? Take a look on this unit from EBAY looks like that will fit with no transformation to the dash.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-...fAudioQ5fVideo

Also Ebay has this MYGIG Unit check the link bellow:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MyGig...fAudioQ5fVideo

But before buy a MIGYG unit look at this thread http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread....=mygig+install and this one too http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread....=mygig+install

Some people complain about MYGIG Ipod connections, I think you going to be better results with an aftermarket unit. I personally don't like uconnect features of the OEM units. Good Luck. Hope this will help!!
