Default HEMI side bed decals install tips anyone?

I bought a set of hemi decals that go top to bottom of my bed on the side. Was curious if anyone has any tips on the install or video by chance?

Install is pretty strightforward. Wash and degrease the area really well, I love dawn dish soap for this, rinse it really well, then dry it down with a nice lint-free cloth. Now, measure from the same point on both sides and use a piece of masking tape (i like the blue stuff since it peels off nicer) to hold your decal in place. Get both sides even and taped in a few spots, make sure the decals are perfectly vertical, don't use bed lines for reference, they aren't parallel to the ground. Once it's aligned nicely, you can start peeling the backing off, sa you do this, have a silicone squeegee to push the decal onto the surface and to pull any air pockets. I like to start from the top and work down, but try to be as smooth about this as you can.

Here's a good video, it's onto glass, but same concept. I don't like windex, I prefer the soap; rubbing alcohol is the best though.

First off, make sure to clean the paint well with a good Wax/Grease Remover. Temporarily tape the pieces in place, and after you have them situated you can place several small pieces of masking tape around the decals and make some reference lines so that you can line it back up when you are ready to apply them. With most vinyl graphics you can use a mild Soap/Water solution and mist the area lightly before application as it will help with any adjustments and air bubbles. If you don't have a Felt Squeege, you can use a credit card or something like that to spread it on and squeeze out any water and air bubbles.

This video shouild show how the wet application process works.

Just make sure you lay everything out before even thinking about peeling your decal. It's pretty easy.

ANOTHER question lol Where do most ppl start the decal on these trucks? Do they lap them over the top of the bed or right where the bed starts to bend on the side?

If you have enough over-lap at the top for the decal to cover top to bottom it's good to let it run to the inside of the bedrail and trim with a razor after you get it all in place.

Good luck, you'll do a great job!
