Took my Dodge to the nearest store on the website that had the hunter machine. They spent an hour and a half trying to sell me new tires (current ones are almost new), an alignment and an oil change with the wrong oil (5w-30) they said I needed because my engine was older. They said they would do a road force balance if I really wanted them to but it wouldn't help. I decided not to let them.

The floor definitely shakes more than the steering wheel, but both shake. I noticed speeding away from that place as fast as I could.

I would definitely get the road force done, sounds like tire balance issue to me.

Yep. Located a National Tire and Battery 3 miles from home that did a balancing using this Hunter machine. Vibration is gone. $11.00 a tire. Not bad considering the dealer wanted $35 a tire and Discount Tire wanted $20 a tire. Thanks guys.

Start with the tires, they cause a majority of steering and suspension related complaints.

any members in your area have a set of wheels you can try? I had almost the identical symptoms, ok up to freeway speeds and then shook like crazy...thought tires need rebalancing, didn't work and these tires were faily new. Went to a buddy's house and tried a set he had sitting around...rode smooth at highway speeds so I changed to a name brand tire (bf goodrich) and all is smooth again..never again will I buy a no name brand tire..

I dont know if this is the same thing but i have a simular problem but my vibration is more like a violent shake. seems to be comming from the left front and also it feels like the steering wheel is directly affected with the shaking as well. Between 65 and 70 if i hit the slightest bump in the road after i slow to under 60 it goes away
