Default Anybody try the Flex a lite 183 - Ram specific fan kit?

I'm thinking about it, just wondering if anybody here has one and what do you think?

I had no idea they had one. Got a link, part number, etc????

I have used Flex-A-Lite fans in the past and they are good parts!

Default flex a lite fan

Yea just installed a flex a lite fan in the 4.7 yesterday and road tested it for a few hours on the wide open and straight roads that we have here in the southwest.Turn on the pork picker and slam that pedal to the floor. The model #is 183 and if you like Jegs you can find it there.I really like this setup and did not have one problem with it.They could have spent a little more time in the design and research of this product but once i rewired it to my personal design it came out all good.On a one to five on the mechanical scale i would rate this as a dificulty three. Not to be attempted with a screwdriver and pliers.Your gonna need the rite tools and knowledge for the wireing.Gonna try to post a couple pics. This is my first post so if i messed anything up i get it better next time.Dodge trucks rule but i like all types of vehicles.Your gonna like the electric fan.More power.More better.Just did the EBC brakes too. They take a little getting use to.

I installed my Flex-a-lite and did a small write up about it. Love the e-fan, and having run high speeds through the mountains with the temp staying below half on the guage made me a true believer. Here's the thread for the writeup:

And hemiluv, dont forget to stop by the newbie section to get the official welcome

I have a Flex-a-lite Black Magic on mine, works really well, still need to make brackets for the window washer fluid container...but other than that little problem it works great. Put the controller on the middle of the side part out fo the way and all the wiring is really clean and hidden.

Return it, its not supposed to sound like you have a plane under the hood. Sometimes they are not stored properly and they jam up, it could also be defective, call them and tell them its not good, they should replace it.
