Default Looking for some new mods

Finally got my truck how I want it currently. I am looking for a few mod ideas performance wise, I'd love to see what this community has to offer. I am not looking to get a super charger, cam, or headers, but any other areas I'd like some input in. The smaller areas lol.

Currently, I have a Superchips tuner, MagnaFlow Exhaust, Spectre Cai, and New Spark Plugs, about to pull the plug on a new high performance wire set. I read online that getting some new wires could help my truck out.

Another thing is I plan on adding a billet oil catch can, so things like that and new wires are the type of things I am looking for.

I hope I am not being too vague

Do you have an early '06 that still uses the cross-over wire between opposite cylinders? If you do then you'd get more out of swapping to late '06 twin coils with no crossover wire.

For the 3rd gen hemi, there is no catch can that works unless you do some custom modifications; we have an internal PCV system. There's not much to offer ya if you're not looking to do anymore to the internals, so you can look at an e-fan and underdrive pulley but hopefully someone else has some ideas.

My ram was built in 05, sold in late 06. How can I physically look at my engine and tell?
And thanks for the input on catch can, its been something I have wanted to do but now know it can't happen.

pop the hood..if you see any spark plug wires, then you're older (I doubt it)... all 06's that I know of have mds and no wires..

These sound interesting, 180 tstat, under drive crank pulley, tranny shiftkit, tq verter. lol What exactly are you talking about for each?

Sillivan,
180 thermostat- This mod replaces the stock thermostat, this tstat opens at a cooler temp, mostly to keep the engine cooler, I also hear that it richens the fuel mixture a bit but I haven't given this much consideration.
under drive crank pulley- Crank shaft connects to your accessories with a pulley, this mod increases your power by changing the ratio which it spins by my understanding (I'm not 100% on this one, I've yet to do any research on it, and don't intend on doing it until after my cam, rods, springs, manifold and a few other mods. I do believe to make your alternator work properly afterwards you have to change the pulley wheel to account for the speed difference).
tranny shift kit - shift harder, or raise the rpm at which you shift not overly sure on the 06 model.
tq verter (torque convertor) - with the auto tranny you dont have a clutch to transfer power from your motor to drive axel rather there's the torque convertor which acts as a fluid clutch, google it, theres tons of info out there on how they work and which ones to upgrade to.
efan (electric fan)- motor driven fan = parasitic loss, change to an efan and you gain a little power and if you do your research it will move more air then your stock fan.

Im not sure if the 06 is like the 2010 but when I did my tstat I lost alot of coolant from the fact that my radiator hose is higher then my housing for the tstat. So if you buy a new tstat make sure to have coolant if your doing it yourself.

looks like rt explained each pretty well.. you didn't ask about gears, depending what you have now you can upgrade to 4.10's or 4.56's...

Thanks! I think the thermostat is my next mod,

Gears won't come for a while if at all ever. Are gears something you could DIY if you had the time? I had someone tell me its difficult. But if you have a manual it should be easy. I can take apart anything and put it back together.
