Add me to the list! First real mod is a Diablo!
So after some debating on weather or not to go intake first or tuner i decided to try out the tuner. Really it boiled down to there is a shop close by that had them in stock and i didn't have to wait lol!
After putting nearly 100miles on it already today driving around and running errands and lunch with the wifey i'd say so far i'm pretty damn impressed with the diablo tuner. Power is there, seems like its got a little more off the line, and my fuel millage is whats getting me, i installed a soft cover on the bed and k&n drop in this past weekend and now the tuner. I drive 50 miles one way to work 3 times a week and was getting around 16-16.5 hwy. Today after 100 miles or so all hwy when i reached my driveway i was at 19.7mpg and was over 20 for parts of the trip. I hope this last, and i had my foot in it a few times lol! Regardless it seems to be a worthwhile investment and its very straight forward.
I have it set on the 87OCT tune and the transmission performance tune, i put 89 mid-grade fuel in the truck and so i picked that tune because i'd rather put better fuel in the 87 tune than a 91 tune and put in 89 if that makes any sense.
Questions for yall when install an exhaust and intake do i need to do anything else with the tuner it self, or just leave it be?
Thanks!!!!!!!!! LOVE THIS TRUCK!!
