Default 20 inch tire questions

Does anybody know if the 20 inch tires give less traction than 16's? I dont know if its the style of the stock good years or just the size but it seems to me in two wheel drive the traction sucks even in light snow.

Traction depends on tread design, width and rubber compound. Size doesn't matter on trucks. Unless you are offroad, the thinner sidewall equals better on road traction, at the cost of smooth ride.

If you want a tire primarily for the street and still does ok in the snow, look into the Cooper Discoverer H/T. They wear very well and won't break the bank. Several of the guys I work with have them on their Rams. http://www.coopertire.com/html/produ...&artw=60&rd=20
