Default Engine Coolant Help!!

I have a 05 1500 and my engine coolant reservoir completely emptied less than 2 weeks later after being filled. I have had no warning lights come on or seen the engine temp gauge running high. I have no clue what is going on with it and would appreciate any and all help as to try and figure out what is going on with it from anyone who has had this issue before.
Thanks RumbleBee

Check the under the radiator cap and see if there is still coolant. Maybe run a pressure test and check the heater core as well.

If there is no coolant at all I would check any hose coming to or from the radiator. It would be likely you'd have a leak, obviously. Don't forget to check freeze plugs. my buddy blew one a small section of his freeze plug and all the coolant rushed out in a matter of seconds. We had to cycle water through it to find the leak.

I've also witnessed a toyota pickup from the early '90s dump all of it's coolant with no sign of a leak. We had even filled it up and to this day it hasn't leaked.

Coolant is weird stuff my friend.

A bad radiator cap can cause this. If there are no readily visible leaks, you may want to replace it since it will be cheaper than pressure testing the cooling system. If coolant continues to vanish after replacing the cap, then have a pressure test performed.

Thanks for the help. I meant to get on here a few days ago. I traced the leak to the thermostat housing. I removed the hose and pulled the thermostat out. The rubber gasket had dry rotted and broken causing the fluid to leak. Cost about $40 to fix with a new thermostat and a gallon of coolant. For future reference buy a thermostat with a black gasket. It has a better compound and will last longer. Thanks for the suggestions.
