take ur air box off and open your throttle plates and look down inside the intake with a flashlight and see if there is oil puddling in the bottom of the intake, if there is then its bad for sure. also another way is to take off your oil fill cap and put your hand over the hole too see if you feel any suction.

If I see oil is that a bad bad thing. Seems to me it is just ganna burn it off? How is it getting there? If that gasket is fixed will all be ok then. If I see oil should I get it fixed right away, will driving it more in that state, will it hurt it?
If I get suction I assume that means the gasket is going out?

if theres a little around an edge its not really bad, but if there is oil pooling in there its gonna burn it and consume the oil going in there thus having to add oil every once in a while. but if there is more than just around the edges it should probably be fixed because that is an oil leak, oil consumption, and vacuum leak all in one and that hurts ur MPG'S! your going to wanna get it fixed. not so much that its gonna hurt it but not really good for it. I think you should do it as soon as you can.

I pulled the air intake and it was clean inside there, saw no oil puddling or any sign of oil using a flashlight and what I could see. Did see some black gasket I assume it was mated to the intake inside there. It looked fine, no degrading going on with the parts of it sticking out.
