Default Intermittant Stalling Issue

Have an '05 1500 4.7 with 84k on it. Over the last two months the truck has had an intermittant stalling issue - primarily first thing in the morning, usually when I throw it into D after backing out of my driveway or after braking for the first stop sign I come to...just flat out stalls....no sputter, just stalls. Every once in a great while it will happen after the truck is warmed up. Any thoughts?

Have you replace spark plugs, air filter, etc. The stalling issue is quite common when the spark plugs are past 'end of life'.

Yeah, replaced them about 8,000 miles ago. Did not change out wires, but the wires looked okay....

i dont think the 2002-2007 4.7L has plug wires....just clip connectors, check your power steering fluid, my was really low once and i was turning the steering wheel while putting it in drive and it stalled on me,

Have you had the MIL (check engine light) come on? If so, did you read the codes?
If you have access to a code reader, can you check if there are any 'pending' codes.
Fuel pressure is another place to look. Not sure if this would generate a code or not, but if the problem is only when it's cold, then this could be a possibility.

my 07 had a stalling problem like that after I had the trans fluid change. Had to do with the new filters not being seated completely and it was sycking air instead of fluid. Had it redone and so far no problem
