My Ram makes me smile everytime my son gets in it. Before my current ram my previous was an 89 standard cab W250. My son always wanted to go in Daddy's pick up truck but no place for his car seat... He is 3.5 years old. So I told him Daddy is going to sell his truck (which I loved) for a newer one with a back seat. He was so happy. I searched for 3 months for the right one and grabbed it. He was so excited when I got it home and put his car seat in the back . I was excited as well. He said Daddy, I love your new pick up truck with the back seat but there is a problem, I said what problem, he says Daddy its not black... I wanted a black one... He now likes the color and loves the way the mud terrains sound... Every weekend we go for a ride in it with my doggy...

Old One...

New One

This also makes me smile... Except when at the pump...

awe! that actually brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye!

I got a chance to smile today....
While on my way home from work at rush hour I ended up behind a tractor on the hwy...(why they decided to do this during rush hour is beyond me but none the less it gave me a chance to play) I finally had my chance to go around and there was enough space in on coming for me to pass him...I pulled out and (never having done this before) I floored it...my truck got up and went like not now but RIGHT NOW!!! it snapped my neck back the back tires squeeked and away I went...MORE than enough time LOL I had a HUGE grin the rest of the way home...so glad it's spring, the roads are dry, and I have a Hemi at work in my truck!!! LOL

Isn't it a nice feeling when you pull out to pass with 'just enough room', finish the job and realize you actually still have enough room to do it again!

it makes me smile coming up with or across new ways to play with my RAM!. from pulling stuck trucks off a hill that while they took several tries to get up, i just crawled up it. or flipping over junk cars to get to the soft stuff underneath for scrapping. or knowing that the same day several friends are stuck in the snow, i was out driving through ditches just because i could. i love my ram

Just looking at my keys puts a smile on my face, but even more so when all my friends fight about who gets to sit in the back, nothing like a mega cab to make passengers act a$$ backwards lol.

my favorite story with my ram is when i raced my buds 2002 ford F-150 triton ex cab short bed, has a K&N drop in filter and super chip tuner, my mega cab only has an intake and a TB spacer ( 33's terra grapplers on my ram, he has cute little 265's on his), from the dead stop he had me off the line and most of the way but pulled infront of him at the end. After that we raced from 30mph to 90mph. poor ford just didnt have it in it, he stayed at my quarter panel the whole time, nothing like a Hemi <3

I wish I could take the credit for it, but I can't I stole it from someone else who obviously knows what they are talking about when it comes to the RAM!

There are some great stories in here...and I am sure writing about them just reminds of how you felt the say the story happened, and people smile as they tell us all about their experience with their RAM.

These are great! Keep 'em coming! I want this thread to be HUGE! that when someone is thinking of buying a ram, and they come across this thread it will out weigh all the bad stuff they hear. Fact is we don't think twice about posting about a bad experience, but the average everyday good stuff is stuff no one hears about....Well this is the place to do it.
I know everyone on here has a story to add, let's keep going!!!

My good old Ram hasn't let me down yet

I remember last winter, right around Christmas time, we got around 3-5 feet of snow and it was still coming down. Of course, me and my buddy decided to take advantage of the wonderful whiteout and had a great night. Beginning outside of town we decided to pull a sled around behind my truck. After that we decided to go down some of the side street since the plows suck here, and we were going pretty good through about 2-3 feet of snow and we saw a bunch more coming up. I decided we were going to get stuck if we stop so we gave her hell and punched on through. Long story short, we wound up digging my truck out for about two hours because it got high centered . Oh, and did I mention the snow was up above the hood? Ah, good times.
