Default Add a subwoofer?

I have a 2011 Crew Cab with the stock radio, which sounds GREAT, but would like to add a sub under the passenger rear seat.

Is this easy to do? Is there factory wiring back there (for amp and sub) even though my truck did not come with a sub?

Thanks!

Nope, no factory wiring, at least there wasn't anything of the sort on mine. You would need and amp and and enclosure as well.

I have both in my 2008 and im looking to put them into my 2011 Big Horn. I hope they fit. The speaker enclosure will be custom and expensive. But it sounds good. Good luck.

I'm getting my enclosure from www.foxacoustics.com. Their new dual sub enclosures for 2011 Dodge Ram Crew Cabs will be available next week. I believe they will be $150, but we'll see. If not, there are plenty of other enclosures all for about $150.

I just ordered my subs, amps, speakers, etc. today. Can't wait for it to come in so I can get started.

No factory wiring will be there but it's a simple matter to wire up the sub and amp of your choice. The biggest issue is a box that fits. Those Fox boxes look good.
