Default Possible to buy just a headlamp lens?

My passenger head lamp lens somehow got a little paint overspray, and its bugging me. Nothing will remove it. I used a little of this liquid to remove it, and it began to sort of scratch the lens slightly. Would a cheap little lens restoration kit work? Its bugging me because they are projector lamps and there is some upclose visual stuff I want gone. Its not a big deal.

Most restoration kits do not work and unfortunately the Lens is not available as a separate piece all vehicles the headlights are usually a one piece design.

The best restoration kit I've used is the Mother's kit. But I have never had to remove paint overspray. Good luck!

I've heard good things about the lens restoration kits from a co-worker. It's a 20$ solution that is worth a shot IMO.

If you have some paint overspray i'd say try some paint thinner on a rag and wipe really hard!!

I tried paint thinner. Its plastic, whats a good plastic polish/compound? Rubbing alcohol doesn't work. Maybe break cleaner?

I was going to suggest carb cleaner (very lightly rubbed), then finish up with a good wax (I use Meguiar's Cleaner Wax). I oversprayed on my motorcycle last summer and it worked like a charm. Might test in a small area first, just to be safe, but I'd say if it'll work on my bike's clearcoat, it should work on your lenses.
