Default CAI for 3.7L V6?

I hope this isn't in the wrong section of the forum...

I was just wondering if it's a "waste of money" to get a CAI for a 3.7L V6?

I have read a couple posts on different websites where some users claim it's not worth the money (of say a K&N) as it doesn't have much upside on this engine (compared to the V8+ engines).

Any thoughts?

Adam

Just ordered a K&N CAI.
Any possible increase in MPG/HP is well worth it in the long run... Would still love to hear from any 3.7L V6 RAM owners out there...

I have the Hemi in my Ram and the 3.5 in the wife's Charger, but I have the K&N CAI's on both

Congrats on your mod, be sure to post up your results! Are you planning on modding the exhaust, too?

Yea, but unfortunately not real soon. The wife has informed me that I have to put steps/running boards before I can do anything else, "it's uncomfortable for her to get in/out".

Go figure :/

Default Cai

Can Dodge's computer management system adjust all by itself for CAI?
My high performance bike requires recalibration for any intake/exhaust modifications
