Default Where to start?

I have a stock '07 QC 5.7. I have a quote for about $400 for a magnaflow muffler and dual tails. I also plan on getting a CAI (probably Volant) and a programmer (probably SC). I can't afford to do them all at once. Which would you start with and why?

Thanks

I'd go with the exhaust. It has an immediate return...i.e. sound.

Then do the intake. Your throttle response will improve and now you can reap the benefits of a freer flowing exhaust.

Lastly, do the programmer. You won't realize the full benefit of the programmer until the intake and exhaust are done.

Maddog hit it on the head. Just how I'd go if I had the $$$ at this time.

Thanks guys. Does $400 sound alright for a Magnaflow 14" muffler and CAT back duals with tips? That's the lowest price I've found in the area.

unless you really want the look of duals I would just cut and replace the muffler. that would probably cost $150 leaving you more money for your next mod. if you want it for looks then go for it but it won't get you anymore power.

Well I'm getting a great deal on a used Volant CAI from a forum member, so I figured I can blow some $ on the dual look.

That's a good price for the catback. I'd jump on it.
