I put a 1.5inch Daystar Leveling kit on my pickup about a month ago. I had to replace the front shocks with stock 2500/3500 2WD shocks, which are about 2" longer. Some people will tell you that you dont need to get your alignment done. Im here to tell you that the steering feels really tight with out it, and the front tires are bowed inwards a little bit, so I would recommend it. BTW i have a 2008 Ram 1500 2wd, so it shouldnt be a difference.

I have an 04 2wd also and id like to level or lift it. I was looking at the daystar 1.5" level the rough country 2" level and the rough country 3" lift kit. Im curious as to how you made out with yours. Id like a little lift but not huge. I saw an 08 with a 2" hell bent that looked great but i dont think they make it in 2wd. I also heard rough country was junk! Any info would be much apreciated as i would like to pull the trigger on something.
