Default The upcoming adventurer, is now Ram Express.

Why make a r/t for 10,000 less? Why make a diffrent model from the r/t i'm not sure where dodges marketing department is going. The same reason the made the r/t is why they made this.. i read the r/t article and the express article, dodge had the same marketing and mind set for both of these.

DISSAPOINTED.

WHY WHY WHY, Didn't they put the 5'7 bed in this i thought this was supost to be smaller then the r/t? i thought that was the reason they were making it.

Yeah I don't really get where this trim model is supposed to fall where the RT or Sport already doesn't.

Edit - Nevermind, I get it now. It only comes in 4x2 and regular cab unlike the Sport which is 4x4 and only crew/quad cab, and comes with 3.55 rear end unlike the R/T's 4.10. So it's the economy version of an R/T?

Not even a economy version, cause 4x4 drains gas. These come with the 3.55 with optional 3.92. Plus, like the other guy said, its a stripped down R/T, but not even cause the rear bumper is chrome?

I'm not really sure where dodge is going with a 1 painted bumper and one chrome. I Wonder what the express has to offer over the r/t, or a just a RC truck with the 5.7 . I did read however cause its has a center console i think that may be the advantage. And what people fail to realize is that you can get the ring and pinion (4.10) from a R/T and just throw it in this and have a R/T for like $15,000 less.

Dodge made a big mistake with this IHMO.

I keep reading this and I'm not really sure where your going with it. From what I've read it doesnt have a consol it has a vinyl split bench seat.
I'm basically seeing a short bed tradesman or an economy R/T.
The pictures I've seen the bumpers are both painted


According to the Allpar article 4x4 is going to be an option. Yeah a 4.10 would be nice but you cant win them all, and dodge would be shooting the R/T model in the foot if they did offer it.

the website reads that it is vehicle for the people that are making their ENTRY level new vehicle purchase
less costly than the other Rams, almost the same price as a Ram Tradesman construction stripped down model
