Default Light/Heavy load tire pressure

I have read my owners manual and still am a little confused, so, I decided to post and get some real life info.

I havn't towed my 5er yet (still no nice weather here in Michigan) so my rear tire pressure is still set at light load as it came from the dealership 4 months ago.

My question is when I inflate the rear tires to heavy load, what do I do with that "light load" button that is in the cluster of buttons below the radio? Do I just press it and done?

I don't like the TPMS and I just don't want to do anything that will set of any kind of alarms, bells or whistles.

45 is light load(light on the button ON)
While towing, inflate to the pressure on the door (I haven't bothered to look) and press the button (light on the buttin OFF)

Hope that helps.
