Default Front end shaking/vibrating when I brake

I thought I needed pads and rotors when my truck started to vibrated when I braked. The steering wheel shakes too(only when I brake). Alignment and balancing is good with the tires. Noticed it about a 2 months ago. I replaced the wheel bearing last year and didn't have the abs sensor hooked up so all winter it's only been pumping one side. I pulled the abs fuze when it started thinking it was that. Still does it and was just going to order new stuff but just checked the brakes. Rotors aren't bad at all, I've seen way worse, only have one tiny groove on the outer driver side. Pads are about 50% or so, rears look even better. ???????????????

Have you actually measured lateral runout and thickness variation on the rotors?

I figured they might be warped. I went out and bought a set the night I posted this.

Hey Guys,
The problem is the way the discs are turned when doing a brake job. I went through 2 sets of stock rotors and 1 set of EBC rotors before finding the problem. EBC clued me in on what was happening.
The rotors MUST be turned while on the truck. There is a special machine to do this with and not all dealers have this. If you turn the rotors off the truck they WILL warp within 15k miles and you will be right back where you started.
It really angers me to know that the Dodge dealer knew nothing of this (or did know and just kept taking my money to fix the rotors every 15k)
Anyways, hope this helps.
