I have 105k on mine and the previous owner had tranny rebuilt at 90k?!?! I love the truck but getting concerned here. I had the tranny wanting to shift in / out of OD at highway speeds, but after the wealth of knowledge on this site I changed the TPS and that took care of the issue. However, now (big sigh) the truck doesn't want to change out of 2nd and 3rd gear without having to let up on the throttle.

Any suggestions? Will the speed sensor (mentioned above ^^^^^) help me on this? How much are those?

I replaced my torque clutch converter selenoid and shift selenoid recently...it was a piece of cake job...u just had to drop the tranny pan (be careful not to spill if you want to reuse the tranny fluid, plus its crazy messy) they were just two simple electrical connections...we had to unscrew the pannel and pop them out...new pieces back in, plug in and bolt back up...poured the tranny fluid into a large pitcher and bolted the pan back up...make sure that you dont strip out the bolts or else you'll be buying yourself a new tranny....pour the tranny fluid back in with the truck in neutral and add whatever you need from your spill...having 2 people helped alot...good luck

Default Trany Problem Again.....

The solenoids come as a complete harness there is two overdrive and torque converter lock up.....bad news is the valve body has to be removed because of the thru case connector. I know because I change mine out last weekend....good luck to you...
