Exclamation Engine shut off on me!

i got a yr 2000 4x4 5.2L ram 192k miles on itand there's been 2 problems maybe 3 lol

1st when i first start the engine and get out of the drive way there's about a 10% chance my engine will shut itself down and i have to start it back up again. So dont know what's up with that.

2nd. when idle like drive thru's and long red lights it start to "die" on me and sometimes after hitting the acceleration "skip" and make a couple popping sounds so i'm like stuck on the street for about 1-2 seconds longer than i want to be. So i dont want to get embarrassed by having it completely stop on me in the middle of traffic.

3rd. oil meter goes from 60 to 40 (out of 100) back and forth randomly usually when the truck stalls on me for a second. Dont know if oil meter is suppose to do that either.

Any ideas on what it might be?

My 99 Ram shutting down while driving and the gauges would stay where they were when the engine died I pulled the plug connector under the dash and sprayed it out with wd40 and brake cleaner and it worked for a little while and died again. The fix was electrical contact cleaner from radio shack and dielectric grease on the connectors and all seems normal again.

Possible bad crank sensor. on the back of the engine passenger side. On top of the bell housing next to the cylinder head. Hard to get to but you'll be able to.
