Talking Performance Chips??

Has anyone used/tried the GFORCE performance chip? If so how well does it work? Also, any ideas for something better? thanks.

Stay away from chips. A programmer is going to be your best bet and the Diablosport will be at the top

What's wrong with the chips? I had one on my previous truck, an F150 (before I was enlightened) and it made a huge difference. The predator costs more than 4times as much.

^^^^ in answer to your question, all a chip will do is send a signal to the PCM (computer) to tell the computer it is getting a different reading from a sensor. Basically, to make power all it does is tell the PCM it wants more fuel. This will tend to overfuel your vehicle and cause some carboning in the cylinder, on the heads, the valves, the plug and downstream it tends to destroy catalytic converters.

Plus, there are no tuning options with a "chip" like you get with a programmer.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen much for the 2011's but DiabloSport is working on their tool for that year. I have two HEMI powered vehicles and I have a DiabloSport Predator on each. I really like the tuning flexibility and the results I get from the tool!
