Default OK, What Corporate Idiot???

decided to leave the rear "stake hole" uncovered. I put a nice roll-up tonneau cover to seal the bed and noticed this damn thing open.

It seems there is no "plate" to cover this like on the front stake hole.

Maybe I can find a nice "wooden plug" to fit in there to do the job.

Right now I "duct taped" it.

Geez, can you imagine "duct tape" on a $41k truck.

I've driven new vehicles all my life and I swear the "big wigs" must sit around a table on Monday morning thinking up ways to piss off their customers.

Anyway, any ideas on how to cover this hole in a dignified manner?

Don't see an issue with it left open as no water can get in the bed....

Default Yikes, You Are Right!!!

I guess if I would have been tall enough to actually look into the hole I would have seen it DOES NOT go into the bed but drains straight down and out.

Looks like I'm the "idiot".

Actually I knew that, I was just checking to see if anybody was paying attention.

Woke up to 6" of snow this morning. Can you tell I'm REALLY grumpy.

We got a foot of the white stuff yesterday, roads are stoopid slick, where the hell is the warm weather. I also share your lack of height, need a stool just to get in the damn bed of the truck! Damn I'm really grumpy too! It's the damn snow!
