Default Performance chips?

I keep seeing these ads for GForce performance chips stating it will not only increase HP but also increase MPG by 4-7. Any truth to this? I've only had my rig a couple weeks so this is new to be, but I sure would be interested in better fuel efficiency. Thanks.

Most of the tuners will give a little of both, based on the tune you select. I read more happy users of the Diablo tuner, at least around here. If I had to do it I would opt for the 87 tune to get a good mix of economy and the ability to kill the MDS.

The gf chip is total bull, they say " it may take up to a year for the computer to learn the new parameters", a friend of mine bought one for his challenger. Not the easy plug and play they say, he sent it back. Don't waste your time or money. More horsepower the old fashioned way, heads, cam, exhaust, etc is the only thing that works in the real world.

I think you'll be a lot happier with a real tuner vs. a signal interrupting chip. Most of the cheapie chips on the market just overfuel the engine to make power.

The programmers have real tuning options. I have two HEMI powered vehicles and both have the DiabloSport Predator programmer on them. They definitely improved the performance of the vehicles. The combination of intake, exhaust and a programmer on the RAM got me better performance and my mileage improved!

Like usual very true a quality intake, exhaust, programmer set up wont make ya broke like some hotrodding techniques but will give you a very nice noticable difference in performance
