Glad to see I am not the only one with this problem. I guess I will trim of the excess hose since it will be staying this way. I didn't trim it in the begining just in case I was going to re-route it.

Yeah i was troubled over it for a while and then did a google image search and found a bunch of other pictures where people had routed their hose the same way. It also took me 3 hours to install as well. It sure would have been nice if all of the screws were bolts instead of the stupid phillips heads. Things would have gone quicker and easier.

FYI....... GUYS TAKE A PIECE OF THE 3/8 GAS LINE THATS INCLUDED WITH THE KIT AND PUT IT ON YOU ALUMINUM A/C LINES (coming off the condenser) AFTER 3 YRS OF RUNNING MINE ITS WORN DOWN A BIT HATE FOR YOU TO LOOSE A/C IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER!! this would be the first and only problem I have had with the VARARAM

Gonna do just that Friday. I may even fab up a new bracket when I get the chance.
