Default Shock install question

Hey guys, i was planning to put some new shocks on my truck this weekend and not familiar with the setup. Do i need a spring compressor to hold the springs when i take the old shocks off ? Doing all four... Sorry for the dumb questions but i'm new to this scene. Any advice or directions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks...

I don't think you will need any special tools to remove the springs. Hope you have much success to get these swapped out.
