How many miles on the truck and did the Dodge dealer do the flush? I'm not a tranny expert but sounds like there might be some issue that was heightened by the flush.

Being that many miles on the tranny and the history of these trannies if this isn't a rebuilt or replacement, additives might help but I never had any luck with them. First thing I would check is on the return cooling line from up front from the radiator, there is a check ball in the line. Could be gum up or clog up with debris. This check ball is there to hold fiuld in the line at startup. This could be causing you to down shift due to possible pressure drop. I'm not a tranny expect but had my share of transmission problems with my truck.
