That is what I had in my Xterra and now in Blue. I like them! Waiting for my Volant CAI. myself and a friend are prototypes for the Nitro and have been measured for the intake back in June. Still waiting though.....

It will make a difference, go for it!

The whole idea of a CAI is to not have any metal parts, to keep the air as cold as possible. K & N uses that metal pipe. Volant's stuff is all plastic and the air intake is set below the engine and faces out through the grille. I would look into one of theirs if you want true cold air. I like K & N's, it works but as soon as my prototype is done it is coming out!

The K&N 57 series are plastic tubes. The 77 series are metal tubes. I had the 77 series on my 02 Ram 4.7 and loved the sound and power of it.

I've got the AEM Brute Force on both my Ram, and on her Charger.... love it, wouldn't go any other way.... it even comes with a throttle body spacer on the Ram....

sounds/ looks great and I picked up a tad more power in the low end, and about .5 to 1MPG

Ive had that intake and the mopar intake but now I made my own cold air intake out of
4" pvc piping put it rite behind my jetstream scoop and seems to be great for my performance and alot cheaper than just buying an intake. my .2
