Its the other end of the kickdown cable with a spring that hooks on to the transmissions throttle valve. The T.V. is what tells the trany when to upshift or downshift at certain points or RPM's.

I tightened up the exssesive play the spring had with a pair of pliers because my spring was loose, I mean loose. By doing that I was able to feel my shifts a little more. As you can see in my previous posts i was pretty stoked about it.

Its nothing new really. I see it as an assit to the kickdown cable adustment on your T.B.
