Default Another Tune-Up Post

I'm pretty new to Dodge engines, so bear with me here. I have a 2007 Ram 1500 crew cab w/ the 4.7, I bought it a few weeks ago w/ 50K on the odometer. The gas mileage isn't outstanding, but it's not that bad considering the weight of the vehicle. I know for a fact that it could be better, which leads me to believe that it needs a little tune-up.

What I'm asking is what should I tune up at the current mileage? I'm pretty good with working on my own stuff so I get the basics. (i.e. plugs, filters, fluids) What I'm new to is the EGR valve...never really messed with one, and after doing some searching on the site, it tends to be the area that a lot of people clean.

If I'm missing something please let me know...also, if you have recommendations on different types of brands for the above mentioned, please post!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I did my plugs and all fluids and filters at 50k on my '06 with the 4.7.
