Thumbs up

Thanks for the pics and description. Yesterday tried an MIT I had on my 05 Dakota 4.7, it was around 2 inches short of the air box and the throttle body coupler was to big. Going to have to try this one out.
I googled this up after posting, they sell a 3.25 to 3.00 silicone reducer coupler. http://www.siliconeintakes.com/category.php?cat=6

For this application you would need a 3.25" coupler, no reducer....similar to this https://www.ipgparts.net/store/3.25-...ler-4-Ply.html

Cool which one? Let us know how you like it as I'd like to replace the one I have.

OK, I have been watching this thread and I replaced mine just as you have shown. the install only took about 15 minutes. I also replaced the Y-Pipe at the same time with the magneflow one and it realy helped the engine. this weekend Im going out of town and will let you know about the gas millage. I had a muffler shop replace the Y-Pipe they charged me $100.

I bought the one from silicone intakes dot com. It's a quality piece, and will surely outlast the spectre one. I picked up a blue one to stand out a bit under the hood!!
