Just checked out my fuse box. Fuse 12 is my airbag cluster and its not popped. Any other suggestions?

Wasn't sure if my 2nd Gen wiring diagram (2001) would be 100% correct for your 97, and it appears it is not. Mine shows the Air Bag fuses as 19 & 20.
Do you have the factory owners manual for your truck? OR is there a fuse legend on the cover? If so, look all all fused that might be labeled -

Fused B(+)
Dome Light
Battery (+)

It will likely be a 10A fuse, but without the diagram for your truck, I can't say for sure.

You could pull every fuse and check it. If you do this, disconnect the battery first.

I just checked, no fuses popped and no fuses labled

Fused b(+)
Dime Light
Or Battery (+)

I looked in the box under the hood and the only thing I see in it that might have something to do with constant power is a fuse labled " Ign Run/ Acc"
Could this have something to do with it?

No....that won't be it. Hmmmmm. I wonder if the wiring harness adapter is the wrong one....
For the sake of troubleshooting, can you remove the adapter so the wiring is back to stock and see if the Dome light and buzzer operation return to normal. If they do, I would like to do some research on the adapter to see if it has a wiring code change that needs to be addressed.

Do you have the brand and model of the harness adapter?
