I emailed Chrysler, they had someone from Michigan calling and apologizing. He told me to go to the nearest dealership when possible and have it digitized. The body shop the dealership uses got it quoted and I should hear back tomorrow with the coverage.

Just so you all know, the guy I spoke to in Michigan told me that the warranty covers perforation in the paint. So for you bumper to bumper warranty any perforation, peeling, chipping, rust forming underneath the paint will in fact be warrantied by Chrysler. Obviously rock chips and wear wont be covered, but its worth a try.
That sucks....i hope they fix it.Man i hope i dont have any problems with my 2011........

You have rust on your 20 inch chrome clad rims? You realize they are made of plastic? Can the chrome plating be rusting? I didn't thing it was real chrome. This is my 3rd set of Chrome clad rims (2005, 2008 and now 2011), I put a coat of wax a year on them and have never had an issue. I hope this holds true for the 2011.

The paint issues are going to be tuff to get them to warranty, you know their going to blame you for them.

The dealer specified it as a factory defect caused by the bumper fender gap being too narrow. They plan on paying the cost. I was surprised as well. I didn't think the chrome clad could rust, but there is a steel ring around the chrome clad. I think that is whats starting to oxidize.

Yes. If its not mopar or dodge equipment it will void the warrenty. So its either lose the warrenty for better parts or keep the warrenty ate higher priced parts

Kinda. They can only void your warranty if the aftermarket part caused it. So if your a/c stops working they can't blame the muffler or level kit for it and have to cover it since they are unrelated
