haven't ever had a lifted truck before so wanted to make sure I liked a moderate lift before committing to a bigger one. idea was to do moderate, economic lift now and save up for the big suspension lift down the road. I had been thinking ultimately a four inch lift is all I would want but like everyone says if you are gonna go four you might as well go six. Basically, same price. So, as I am getting close to a four inch lift height the way it sits now, I know I want that 6 inch suspension lift. Now I will have the choice of keeping the body lift on with the suspension lift I get in the future or taking it out. This lifting thing is addicting.

By the way Scat, as everyone says here, that truck you have is outstanding.

I'm really glad I seen this thread because I'm thinking about getting the Rough Country body lift and level kit because it is affordable. I really want a 6" suspension lift too though.

Big Horn, How big of a discount are we talking on lift kits?

you know you can do the Performance Accessories 3"body + 2" level for about $500. It also comes with gap guards. 5" for about$500 is quite a deal.

Pics look good guys, I just bought a 2011 1500 and its sits too low for my taste. I was thinking about the RC combo lift as well. I think I'll order one soon.

I'm curious - how does a 1.25" body lift affect things like transmission and steering linkage? In looking at the kit it seems to be a pretty simple body lift, but what about linkages, brake hoses, gas filler, etc.? Aren't these things affected too?

Why waste money on a 1.25 body lift anyway? get a 3" body lift if your going that route.

I can't speak for the 1.25" body lift, but the 3" Performance Accessories kit addresses all of that. Here are the instructions. http://www.performanceaccessories.co...ions/60203.pdf
