Yep. Got it on last weekend. Fits well and the truck runs better. Haven't installed the 180 thermostat yet. Ill do that Friday.

Very cool, thanks bigorange and macop! I'm very interested in the 180 thermostat as well...

Wow I went to order that coupler for the same site, it's just as much for shipping as it is for the part! lol. I'm not going to order it until I order some other parts, I'll probably get it elsewhere where I can also buy exhaust tubing as a friend of mine and I will be making headers for my truck down the road...

I finally got the mod intake installed. The truck runs well! It took a while for the ECU to adjust but I can definitely feel the difference. Better throttle response under partial throttle for sure and seems like it downshifts less. I also intalled the 180 thermostat. Next mod is a magnaflow muffler to replace the stock unit.

macop: can you post up what temperature your engine runs at with the 180 thermostat? Mine with the stock thermostat seems to stay between 200 and 205, unless its really hot out it will approach 210. My fan runs almost constantly and I'm not sure it's supposed to (my superchip's fan settings are messed up so I had to put my own settings in but don't know what the stock setting is supposed to be).

I would but my temp gauge doesn't have numbers on it (go figure).
The stock thermostat I took out was a 195.

Oh my 2010 has the display on the dash where I can go in and check the actual temp, didn't realize it wasn't the same... Thanks!

Maybe I have that feature too. I'll have to check it out.

I think its under the label "vehicle info" below the label "fuel economy", I can watch my engine temp and trans temp.

hmmm.... you guys and your 2010's......I'm out of this thread!!! LOL!!!!!

I wish my '08 had this feature! Hey MACOP, I'd check out the Magnaflows that are 18" and bigger. I started out with a SI/SO 14" Magnaflow, and that sucker was loud! Tons of cab noise too.... my radio couldn't even drain it out.
