First, I need to go back to my Diablo Dealer/CMR Dyno Tuner for a custom tune.
He said to run the canned 93 tune and the BT Catch Can for at least a couple weeks first.
He said he had issues trying to get optimum results from the SRT8 6.1 Eagle Hemi's he's tuned
until the intake manifolds were running clean and oil free with a catch can in place. (They should be mandatory on ALL Eagle Hemi's)
The word from CCMR's clients is he can custom dyno tune another 15 WHP over and above the Diablo canned 93 tune.
Next I'll be looking into a vvt cam install from them as well, then headers hopefully this season.
There's a new contender to the LT Header market for 4G's, and they come coated! Just waiting patiently.
Beyond that, I suppose eventually I'll have to upgrade my 3.55's to 4.56's
and a DTT and maybe a higher stall torque converter....2800 should do.
I suspect traction may become an issue but at least I have 4 DR's and 4WD to help if needed.
Check out these videos shot shortly after installing my 93 tune and DR's before heading to the track
If I'm not careful walking it off the line she spins pretty easy on the street
...and even then I can break the tires loose once the torque kicks in and bark the tires into the next gear.
My 1-2 shift often hits at 6300 - 6400 RPM
Good thing our track has lots of traction, good track prep up here
