Default Time for a Shopping list

Got a buddy with an 07 Tundra, whats it going to take to out run that beast ?
Can I do it with bolt-ons or do I need to plan on a power adder ?
Need to watch out for the Warranty, dont want to piss-off the Stealership

As its sits now he walks me pretty bad, actually he murders me from a 40 roll
I have nearly 8k miles racked up so the motor is as broke in as its going to get.

Suggestions ?

What engine?

Normally, engine HP and torque are improved by three things, outside of a stroker build and a significant power adder:

1. Intake
2. Exhaust
3. Programming

A few more details about your truck and I can probably point you in the right direction. Also, check out some of the thread here...lots of good info on what's worked and what folks have done to improve performance.

I have the 5.7 with factory dual exhaust
I'm no stranger to modding cars and trucks, just not Dodge trucks.(my last Dodge was a 2001)
I don't do products from K&N,Amsoil,Magnaflow,Splitfire etc.Over hyped and over-rated IMO.

As far as a programmer goes, I had a 300c and I used to have Superchips and swapped it our for a Diablo. Tons better. we just have to wait for it to come out for our new Hemi's. I also had the AFE air intake and Flowmaster exhaust.

This truck I will get a Flowmaster muffler again, probally AFE Intake and the Diablo.
